Ok im making this thread as a suggestion if you like it please say if not fair enough.

For One or two nights all experienced burglars that come reguarly to the ettens co over to creepside, roll a warg and join a wargpack led by one of the higher ranking wargs E.g Murderous Mimic Dinkir or lilysnap.

Watch there tactics watch how they move, how they assist the raid.

In my opinion Wargpack tactics can easily convert into burgpack tactics with some time.

This will greatly help the ...

Don’t want to clutter up the minstrel class tactics thread because this is really basic stuff, but I could do with a hint or two:

So…..I’ve finally dragged my minstrel up to lvl 50 & want to try some freeping amongst people that want to improve the quality of the game by playing fair.

The atmosphere Freepside does seem a lot more intense than Creepside, where it seemed easier to have a laugh while you were being slaughtered ( I have a R2 Reaver with suicidal tendancies ).

During my occasional raid leads, the raid gets wiped, people dont follow orders, there are too many creeps, sometimes there is no creep at all. Here some hints from my occasional raid leads how to keep up your good mood as raid leader:

- eat chocolate before you start leading

- turn Sulf-mode off (add to ignore)

- Be happy about the 80-90% of the people who follow orders

- if you dont find the creeps consider a fishing contest at the slug-pits, Hoarwell or somewhere else

- if there ...

Freeps and Creeps

The Ettenmoors is about Player versus Player (PvP) or as Turbine calls it Player versus Monster Player (PvMP). The P of PvMP revers to the Free People characters, the avatars you have been levelling up from 1 to 50 in the shire and beyond. The common term for them is Freeps. Monster players are created differently and commonly referred ...

On sunday night I took over from Connal leading the main raid. Puntorin from Baruk Khazad arrived with a 15 man strong kin raid and olivic had a 2nd raid growing nicely.

Rather then trying anything complex with 3 raids we attempted a full frontal assault on LUG.

It worked, we rushed through the oil into the main room, pushing hard, killing the NPC's with some minor creep action on the side. pushing up the stairs things started to fall apart a bit. The big problem for freeps is accepting ...

Leaders aren't there to do everything themselves allthough some might like to. So what do great leaders do?: They delegate!

So why not entrust some of your fellows with one of the following jobs, call them officers maybe....

Recruiting Officer - This can be a real pain for a leader to keep track of. You need someone to keep an eye on the ooc but someone who also knows how to give priority to certain classes/people. You wan't the right people in so pick your offficer wisely.

the best RAT i've seen, like a proper seargant, as soon as we hit creeps he screams and shouts at everybody to hit what he's hitting and kill what he's killing, excellent RAT. So here is my idea, it is a slightly different tactic from what the creeps often use against us.

I have witnessed a battle in which creeps and freeps were skirmishing at Tol East Bridge. Creeps distracted the freep raid and pulled some of them on to the ...

I have been doing Ettens off and on for a while now mostly quitting in disgust over the lack of freep tactics. Recently the game has shifted in creep favor as they ranked up and lm got nerfed but on the whole, the real reason Laurelin does so poorly is purely down to the players, including myself, because we seem unable to work together as a team.

Well, maybe this alliance will change things. I have typed down some of my thoughts here on how I think a good freep raid should be run.

Start with to know how to play your class. You should know your part in the raid. What is your job and your objectives.

Edit : As a small personal note, Try to work on your character so that it has over 3000 hitpoints. Below that you are a to easy target. You go down to fast to manage to do something.
