I only have a warg puppy, but I was given some basic survival advice by my kin when I walked him out on the Moors for the first time:

The very first and most important skill to spend your DP on would be the “Enhanced skill – stealth” so you can run more quickly while stealthed and keep up with the pack if you are wargying in a pack.
Stealth is a Warg’s best friend!

Always attack from behind, and from stealth, if you can. Our kin tried that and damage inflicted is increased if you attack from behind as well as if you attack from stealth.

Don’t hang around!
Unstealthed young wargies are very squishy and stealth is your best protection. It’s better to run in, attack, and run out of range to re-stealth – then back in again for some more

“Pounce” is a good skill to use first when attacking from stealth if you’ve got it, and there is a chance it will stun. Follow that with “claws”, or alternatively use “claws” from stealth if you haven’t got pounce yet. “Crippling bite” will slow down your target by 25% and it stacks with the Reaver and Defiler slows.
One thing to watch out for, though, is the skill “savage fangs” which causes bleeding. If you use it on a freep after you (or another warg) have used “crippling bite” it will cancel out the slow effect and make you very unpopular with the other wargs in the pack.
Try to keep your savage fangs button well away from crippling bite so you don’t use by accident!

When you have more experience and access to the skill “throat rip”, use it on Minstrels to stop them healing (I can’t believe I just said that Shocked )

There’s a lot more that experienced wargs can do, and a lot more pack tactics to discuss, but I’ll leave that for the high-ranking wargs to comment on. Very Happy
